BIOTIC
CONDITIONS
| Rodents abundance evaluation: |
Breeding conditions:
| Both avian and mammalian predators were numerous. Found nests of Peregrine Falcons contained 3 chicks each. Waterfowl broods contained on average 5-7 chicks (maximum 10). Human impacts in the area include spring migration of the Nenets people with reindeers and seismic surveys, which will likely become widescale next year in the framework of dase line construction. However, low river depth even at flood time make this area hard to reach for humans.
